Impact of the EU Green Deal

The conference "Renewable Energy Transitions in Africa-Europe Relations: Impact of the EU Green Deal" examines the impact of the EU Green Deal on energy relations, security, equity and cooperation between Europe and Africa. The aim is to foster dialog between stakeholders to jointly develop renewable energy technologies and promote capacity building. With a focus on energy transition, geopolitics and international cooperation, the conference aims to address the challenges and opportunities of the EU Green Deal, make African voices heard and contribute to a more sustainable energy future for Africa and the Global South.

This conference is a joint endeavor of the ICI Institute, the United Nations University Vice Rectorate In Europe (UNU-VIE) and the University of Ghana Business School.
