Paths to a new future

We believe in cooperation instead of isolation, in togetherness instead of mistrust. We want to be an enabling platform that creates understanding and orientation, that brings economic and technological progress to the world. To this end, we create solutions together with science, politics and business. Technological progress, exchange and knowledge transfer can bring political stability and economic growth to geostrategically important regions. To the countries of the southern Mediterranean, the Arabian Peninsula, Asia and Africa. This is what we believe in and are working on.

The team

We are an association of people from politics, business and science who are united by one idea: sustainable progress requires joint and determined cooperation across industry and ideological boundaries. We take a flexible approach to analyzing requirements and needs and designing suitable strategic solutions. We are open to ideas, people, cultures and world views. Because we think globally.

Our cooperation partner in the field of technology is the WZL of the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen. With its 260 institutes in nine faculties, RWTH is one of Europe's leading science and research institutions. We organize activities with socio-political relevance in close cooperation with the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, Germany's most successful university of excellence.

We want to network knowledge from all areas and make it usable in practice for strategic solutions. In line with our credo: scientifically sound, politically forward-looking.

The idea

To solve the challenging issues of our time, we work together with players who have visionary ideas and forward-looking visions of the geostrategic future. Ideas and visions that can only be realized in cooperation with others. 

The work of the ICI Institute ensures that political, economic and technological action has a lasting impact on the ground. This results in strategic solutions to overcome pressing challenges and achieve social progress. Through cooperation and joint initiatives, geostrategically important regions gain political stability and economic prosperity. Our goal is a peaceful future in freedom and prosperity in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.

The way

The ICI Institute develops and plans discussion formats, conferences, congresses, exhibitions and workshops. On our own initiative. Or at your request. ICI Institute projects are unique platforms. We bring together the most important players and the necessary scientific, economic and political expertise. We create forums for exchange, develop strategic solution concepts and facilitate the transfer between science and practice. We support scientific collaboration on innovative technological projects with partners from various fields - currently, for example, with "Second Life Batteries", the optimized use of discarded batteries. We are planning collaborations in the field of energy management to tackle the energy transition. A topic for the future, without question - and therefore also a topic for us.
